The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting

Join us on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. as we take part in the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting, an annual event that unites families and friends around the globe in honoring the memories of sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren gone too soon.

​As candles are lit at 7:00p.m. local time, a wave of light will encircle the globe, symbolizing love and remembrance for all children who have died--gone but never forgotten.

Our local gathering will be held at Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto.  You are invited to bring a framed photo (no larger than 8x10) of your loved one to place on our remembrance table.  If you would like your child to be included in our memorial slideshow, please email a photo to tcfmodestoriverbank@gmail.com no later than November 30th.
